My first week of summer has been spent sleeping, which, although is very nice, has left me feeling rather unproductive.
At some point I'm going to have  to have someone photograph the drawings and paintings I've done this school year so I can upload them. I made some bitchin dragons I can't wait to share.
Went out to the woods to see how my babies are doing- that is, to see how the wild black raspberries are doing. There's still a long ways off until they flower, yet alone ripen, but I'm already excited. Last year and the year before I made pies, but this year I think I might try something new, like jam.
Also I've started my first serious piece of digital art. Everything thus far has really just been messing around and getting used to the program. Anyway, the picture so far is coming along great. Tis a piece of Pony fan-art. One of my first serious attempts at that as well. I've had an idea for a project for a while, but I want to get some practice in first.
Other than that, though, I really don't have any plans, well besides minecraft and sleep.

It all started with a corgi. A friend and I have been known to regularly swap pictures of corgis that we've found on the internet, but yesterday he sent me a particularly special one. You see, this corgi was wearing a shirt, not just any shirt mind you, but a dress shirt that had the exact same purple striped pattern as one my boyfriend owns. I mention this and the guy who sent it suggest I photoshop his face onto it. I did, and it was magnificent, but little did I know what it would lead to. Today at lunch I was scrolling through the internet bored, when I got an idea. I would make a squeal picture to the one I did yesterday. My hands were a buzz as I gathered the necessary photographs. This time, instead of a corgi, I decided to put his beautiful face upon a hawk - the bird for which he is named for. It... it was more than I could have dreamed for. It was the perfect mix of feather and skin, and I even got it so the beak of the bird lined up with his own. This was true art. This was majestic as fuck. Suddenly, a kind of craze took hold of me. I was overcome with the desire to photoshop my boyfriend's face on anything and everything. The adrenaline marched through my veins as I shopped several more pictures, one after another. I shopped him on a motorcycle, then upon a lamp. After that I found reason to grace his face on the body of a moose. It reminded me of the forest spirit from Princess Mononoke. Finally, I found myself a challenge. I found a picture of a fruit basket, and I put a face with a completely different expression on each and every piece. It was... well it was something. Something wonderful.

Well, I uploaded all of the new art I needed to catch up on. So, it may be a while before I get anything new again. I was thinking of doing some fan art for My Little Pony, but with only color pencils and watercolors at home I fear that it may not look as good as I'd like... I really wish I had Corel or Paint Shop Pro to do some digital art. I'd probably make a lot more pictures to share, and I wouldn't have to worry about my lack of camera to do so. Alas, all I have is... Paint [shudder]. But I digress. This was just a warning that I may not update for some time to come. I hope to see lots of new art from my friends to make up for my deficit!

I hope to begin uploading again soon. I got someone to take pictures of a bunch of my new art, so I can put most of it up. However, there are some smaller pieces that I don't have yet, so it may be a while before I can put them up.

I'm so sorry that I haven't uploaded anything of late. My camera broke and I haven't been able to take any pictures. I'll try to find something else to do in the meantime
